Glasgow

Ben and I got the Ember bus from Broxden to Glasgow at 9:30 this morning.

He had to change trousers he bought on Saturday in Holister. We had a good journey down we had the front seat so great view.

We first of all went for breakfast at Spitfire which is a fab Cafe in the West End. Ben had the full Scottish and I had a fried egg roll and had his mushrooms on it. Very tasty.

We headed to Holister which was in the Centre. It’s a shop for young people definitely! He got his trousers changed and then Went to Tiso where I bought a new Rab. The young lad that served me who had a nice conversation with was going to New Zealand for a year on a student Visa, how exciting. He hopes to work and see how it goes.

Ben wasn’t hungry but was thirsty so we went to Nero and had a refreshment. By this time it was 2:30 and the bus back was at 3 so we headed back to the bus station. We sat in Costa to be warm and then out when the bus came. Got the front seat again .

Paps picked us up at 4:20 at Broxden and then dropped Ben off as he had his drama.

We had a good day with some interesting chat. We talked about revisiting Lisbon again in November where we went four years ago when he was 10. That was the first of just him and I adventures. We were looking through the photos I had and was weird to see us in face masks indoors and on transport. Yes it was the Covid years.
