Celebration of Life

Went to Charlie’s service today in St Madoes. It was absolutely mobbed. A lovely service with good words and music. The stories were just typical him and it was appropriate that the service was in Valentine’s Day as he loved life and brought so much joy to everyone he met.

After the service it was a trip down memory lane speaking and meeting many people I hadn’t seen for many, many years.

Home, and out for a walk - we went for a coffee and on to the Butchers. Met Linda, a lady a couple of years older than me who also goes to the gym , and I also used to work for her. She has developed hip issues so she doesn’t run anymore just strength training now, same as me.

Oh, S was at the physio this morning, the department attached to his GP. Good news that he doesn’t have arthritis in his knee but he does in his hip but the physio was happy with him doing all the exercises he does at home to strengthen the muscles , but he will get a appointment with his GP soon.
