Red sky in the morning ...
… well, there are no shepherds in the vicinity of our house as far as I'm aware, but the warning was nevertheless received loud and clear.
A fairly quiet day, starting with a walk down to the Broadway for me, in order to collect a prescription and some bread. Smithers couldn’t face going because it hurts him so much to walk uphill now that he can’t lift his head to look where he’s going. Hopefully when the warmer weather comes it will ease things a bit for him.
This afternoon we had Son #2 and granddaughter #2 here to chill out on their way back from a Dad & Daughter visit to London, which included a visit to a cat café. They had booked in for an hour’s entry to the cat room at the back, and L loved it. All the kittens and cats are waiting to be rehomed and are being accustomed to socialising, but they are also free to hide away from the visitors if they want some peace and quiet. So far the café has re-homed 682 cats.
