Heart to Heart

Although when we retired to bed last night there was a little gentle snow/sleet falling, I don’t think much happened in the night as it was just a bit damp first thing, and certainly the rest of the day has not been as bad as forecast.

However we had planned a quiet indoor type of day, so after dog walk we set about doing a bit of picture moving and reorganising. Found just the right spot for my Abbey picture, so that has been moved.

We think we know where the others are going, which - as often happens - is a completely different position to where we first envisaged them.

In the process of moving things around I had a heart to heart with my Boston Fern who has not been doing too well. I took it outside and gave it a trim, but it needs to make up its mind if it’s going to buck its ideas up.

I may have been a little over zealous with the pruning of the dead fronds, as you can see from my blip, these bits weren’t crispy and brown like some of them were.

Are they worth keeping? Will they dry out all crispy and still look beautiful and artistic? Any sensible suggestions welcomed :-)
