Visitors arrive!
We met the visitors off the train in Sundsvall and drove up to the North Mountain. We checked the view over Sundsvall and walked down the road to the cafe where we enjoyed some lovely cake. (This is the same cafe where we train Tai Chi in the summer.)
Once the cake was gone we drove home and the visitors set themselves up in The Red House, before we went out for a sunset play in the snow. Sledges were ridden and we waded through the snow back up to the top. Paths are starting to form from bottom to top of the sledge runs. We all got cold hands and hot bodies. Just getting up when you are lying on top of deep snow is quite an effort. Eventually we ran out of both energy and daylight, and retreated inside to sit in front of the log burner.
Now it's nearly 9 o'clock and the visitors have returned to the Red House, we are blipping, and soon we all heading for bed.
Having young visitors is very tiring!
