A daffodil

With a bit of Snapseed editing. It doesn’t really have the orange color but I like it! A gloomy day where it spits a few drops of rain. More rain tonight.

I am reading The Trail by Ethan Gallogly. Which is about a young man who is “lost” after losing his father, his job and his girl but embarks on a walk on the John Muir Trail with his father’s best friend who has leukemia. It has history of the trail, emotional scenes, philosophy, religion and a host of great trail characters. I am about half way and have a feeling I will be finishing this today or tomorrow as it has so many elements of hiking that I love.
