King's Cross
In London this evening to hear Josienne Clarke performing the songs of Sandy Denny. I've always liked Josienne Clarke's voice ever since I first heard her singing The Banks of Sweet Primroses at the BBC2 Folk Awards in 2015. I tend not to be a fan of covers, especially of such a sublime song as Who Knows Where The Time Goes, but Josienne's interpretation was excellent. She mingled with the audience in the lobby afterwards and I was able to tell her that I saw Sandy Denny perform live a couple of times with Fairport Convention and she did Sandy proud. The main photo was taken on the walk from King's Cross Station to the concert hall at King's Place. The extra shows the results King's Place is achieving as a venue committed to sustainability. Good on them!
