Sunday: Submerged

We were out nice and early this morning, before the heat of the day crept up.  We drove down to Punat for a walk round, before heading down to Stari Baska where we had heard there were some lovely little coves.  And we weren't disappointed.

We found a great little cove, just big enough for my chair and umbrella and K.'s towel (note the different accoutrements we bring to the beach). Our little cove also had handy rocks for storing all our stuff so pretty soon we were calling it our living room and feeling most comfortable there.

It has been 41 degrees here today so we ended the day with another late night swim, at about 1930.  It was lovely to be swimming as the sun was going down.  It was just too hot to do anything this afternoon.

This submerged boat was in the marina at Stari Baska and gives you a sense of how clear the water is.

And Peter Capaldi as the new Timelord?  He definitely wasn't on my list!

P.S.  It's so hot that we currently have our pillows in the fridge to cool down.
