Long Exposure

Hot, hot and hot today, lovely but too hot for me to be outsde much.
Shot down to the beach around 5pm this afternoon for my blip and for 52frames challenge of "Motion Blur".
Because I'm doing Mono February it is in mono, but I've put another angle in colour as an extra.  The Pacific Ocean colours were amazing, the sun was very bright, usually I can get away with a 3-stop ND filter, but needed my 10-stop for today.
I’m going to watch Lockerbie; A search for Truth on TV this evening,

A Poem -
Down Under
If you've been down to New Zealand
You'll know it's like heaven on earth
The scenery here is so stunning
You can't put a price on its worth.

We've a wee bit of so many countries
We have our majestic fjords
Our deep Southern harbours could well make you think
You might possibly see Viking lords!

Our mountains can challenge the highest
Round each corner's a sparkling lake
You may feel that you've gone into overload
How much beauty can anyone take?

We have geysers that rival old Yellowstone
We've bubbling mud pools and much more
Our glaciers would equal the best in the world
And we've kiwis on our forest floor!

But although we have so many wonders
The things we DON'T have make us great
You don't need to worry 'bout huntsmen -
Those spiders as big as a plate.

No crocodiles, dingoes or rattlers
No snakes here at all will you find
You will think that you've stepped into heaven
And left everything else far behind.

So if you've not been to New Zealand
If you've not set a foot on our shore
Just pack up a bag and come visit
Then come back when you feel you want more!
