An Experience

Tonight David, Claire and I went to the Salon de Varietes in Fuengirola to see the Pink Floyd Experience.

Not the same PFE that I used to hang around with in New Zealand, but the Spanish version, consisting of English musicians.

And pretty good they were too, on the whole. A couple of numbers need work. Wish You Were Here had me wishing I wasn't and Learning to Fly was more like learning to walk, being a bit too ponderous, even for a PF song. 

But other than that, there were some really excellent renditions of Comfortably Numb, On The Turning Away, Welcome To The Machine and many others.

It is a shame they only play a handful of concerts each year as they certainly have promise and gave two nights of sold-out audiences a couple of hours of very good entertainment.
