Flowers

I don't often photograph flowers but I couldn't resist these beautiful purple tulips that Hubs gave me for Valentine's Day.  Tulips are my favorite flower and I love the color of these.  

We barely got a dusting of snow last night, but we did get quite a bit of ice which means it is quite slippery outside.  Our temps are now in the 40's and we've had rain showers all day so hopefully most of the ice on the hard surfaces will melt.  Tonight the temps drop into the teens and we will be below freezing for the next 4 or 5 days so any ice remaining will be with us for the duration.  Poor Jax has been slipping and sliding when he goes out
He already doesn't like the cold, and now the ice...

Had a nice long FT chat with my parents this morning.  Today is Dad's 92nd birthday so they were headed to Starbucks to get a free coffee.  It's cold there too so no walks for them today but I'm sure they will find something fun to do.
