Back Gaet, Hoswick

A bitter wind first thing, thankfully dry. Wintry showers started just after 10am.  Some sunny spells throughout the day.  Calm and clear tonight. 

Up at 5am again this morning, another street cleaning shift.  I was on the south beat this morning, Philip on the north.  I missed the rain, but no luck getting my load of towels out when I finished.  A lazy morning at home.  Picked up Shaun after 2pm, headed down to Laura's for a cuppa too.  Mam and Dawna along also.  Walkies in Hoswick before heading home.  Big Brian and Madeline popped by for a cuppa this evening.  Last walkies before bed. 

Poor Sammy was desperate for a walk, finally drier in the afternoon for walkies.  Plenty of new smells about, kept Sammy busy.  We timed out walk well, blue skies and broken sunshine overhead, then another shower as we got back to the car.  It could be a while before winter is really finished.  Not sure of the right name of this gaet (track), but I'll call it the Back Gaet, Hoswick.
