Robin

Before I went out this morning I took a few shots of this robin. We have recently started to use this suet block feeder. For a while nothing went near it but now the robin choses it more than any of our other feeders. I've seen no other birds on it.

The robin is one of a pair we have in the garden at the moment so, hopefully, they intend to nest here.

The combination of young children, compost and mustard seeds was a bit messy at church this morning, but nothing a vacuum cleaner couldn't cope with. Good old Henry!

This afternoon we were back at the lodge putting things right. The curtains got hung today so it's looking more homely.

Thank you SO much for your encouragement yesterday. After spending more than we have since we bought a house, it's heartbreaking to feel down about it. I'm getting used to it, the shade of green is pleasant..... just different and I don't have to feel embarrassed about the awkward, deteriorating oven!
