River Eden

Made arrangements for my trip to London when my niece comes over from Switzerland with l’ile Sofia.  Then went back into the garden, this time digging up any shrubs etc and heeling them in the veg beds temporarily until I work out where to re-home them. As I dug down I kept finding all sorts of rubble and rock. It started to feel like an archeological dig and I had to stop myself from continuing to excavate. After a short while I stopped for further gestation. 

I little sowing to repair the blind and then I started to defrost the freezer and went for my own freezing walk down to the river.
I love how the sandstone reverts to sand and its memories of warmer times.

Back home and a bit of cooking for the week ahead which I’m trying not to dread too much.
