Mickey and Minnie's Valentine
I've blipped these characters on top of the postbox before but today with my lens baby velvet 56. I found out how to shoot without lens on my x-t5. The setting is an obscure region of camera setup.
Dusk was gathering as I went out with Basil and the temperature was raw. We went to look at the snowdrops at the end of Fairway Road. It was too dark to take an effective photo.
Still some way to go before the sun decides to shine this week although we were told that the thermometer could rise to 14 degrees C by Thursday. I'll believe that when it happens.
I'd been busy with an RPS meeting this afternoon. The talk on travelling round Sicily was interesting inasmuch as there was a photo of a statue of Inspector Montalbano sitting in Agrigento
The second talk was by a lady, who, along with her husband has been travelling to Romania to capture authentic documentary photography. She'd built up a relationship with an old lady who was living out her days on a derelict farm with her brother but who died between recent annual visits.
I was not impressed with what I considered her self indulgent self questioning about whether she was doing the right thing by the brother. The people concerned would not question themselves that way.
