Tides Out
The other day I was out walking with Frida and talked with some visitors. They had come to visit the Wānaka tree (“the fence pist that grew”), as the day before the tide was out and they were hoping it was back in again.
I explained that we had no rain for weeks, that was why the lake was low - it is not tidal.
Still no rain, and the lake continues to drop. After a busy day today, Frida, Jill and I went for a swim. We had to walk out a long way before it was deep enough for a swim.
Thank you for your lovely comments, stars and hearts for yesterdays post. Very much appreciated.
