What's behind the door?

Today rather than walk my own village I went to Newtownards and noticed a number of small features.  This is one of them in North Street, I didn't have a wide angle lens on my camera and couldn't fit everything in, so I tilted the camera.

The horse door knocker immediately drew my eye, then the architectural feature around the door.  I wonder is there a lesson here about getting in really close?  Tell me what you think.
