Green queen
It was so lovely to be back home again last night, although surprisingly I did not sleep well. When I was away I had no problem sleeping at night but that could have been because we were so active all day. I often seem to complain that our bed is not as comfortable as other beds I have slept in (in hotels etc), I think it is too hard for me. My back is also quite sore so I could not get comfortable last night. I did lots of stretching and back exercises in the morning so that did help.
It's been a busy day, as expected - grocery shopping, I made some vegetable and lentil soup, wrapped birthday presents and of course walked Xena in the woods - in sunshine and it was not muddy! It was chilly this morning and as Xena was shivering I put on her coat, being a breed that does not have a natural undercoat she feels the cold very easily.
I have lots of images to edit from my trip, it will take me a while to get them done. I think in terms of productivity it was a very successful trip, despite being so physically challenging, and I am happy with many of the images I got. I am joining Guy again at the end of March in Dorset and I am hoping that one won't be so demanding, and it is also only for 3 nights. He is booked up nearly two years in advance so when I got the opportunity to book I did, even though the two trips are so close together. He also does not advertise many of his workshops as he has a waiting list of people so does not need to.
In other news Anna is now in San Diego for the week as she has interviews for her PhD application, so it is great for Adam to have her there. He is settling in well and even watched the games on Superbowl Sunday with his work colleagues.
Tonight for our camera club meeting we have an inter-club competition on zoom, so that's great that I don't have to go out in the cold to our camera club tonight.
