Hotwheeler

Being the mother of a boy is a lot of fun, but it's been an eye opening experience. I never thought that I'd know so much about tractors and brands of cars. I never realised that my handbag, and occasionally my jacket pockets, would often contain extra cars. Over the last few months, Little Man has enjoyed playing with a piece of wood that's destined for the fireplace. He uses them for his cars and tractors. This afternoon he needed distracting, so I grabbed a piece of wood and one of his Hotwheelers from the basket. I put the car on the wood and quickly took a photo, before encouraging Little Man to have some fun.

Today has been a typical Monday. We had the nursery run. Little Man really enjoys nursery and it gives me the chance to go shopping, without having my hands full with Little Man. I can also bring a crate of wood in, without having Little Man want to follow me. I didn't have the time to sort out the garage but I was able to bring in several small crates. I often only end up bring in one, but today I managed to thripple that.

Little Man and I had a quiet afternoon. We hung out at home, had dinner and got ready for bed. The weather has been cold but clear. It didn't raise above freezing point until around 10 o'clock and the water around our house stayed predominantly frozen all day. It was definitely the type of day you didn't want to go outside if you could help it.
