Packhorse route.

Our first visit to Judy Woods this year.
Forgot it was Half Term but it wasn’t too busy.
Only met about three families and a few dog walkers.
Down at Judy Bridge we met this horse and rider.
This is a very old packhorse route. You can see the simple drainage channels that directed surface water away to the side of the road.

Half way round I got a phone call from our eldest grandson to see if we were at home as he was going to call in with Jude and Leo.
Obviously we weren’t, but he did call later after we had got back.
So lovely to see them all.
I had bought animal dominos a while ago and Jude and I played several games. He won them all but one! ( and no cheating!)
Leo sat and played with the toys but was soon running round and into everything. Takes some watching!
