Morning Walkies

This blackbird was hopping along the wall as we walked Bella this morning.
It was icy cold but dry and a bit sunny. 
Yesterday I was wallpapering one small wall in the kitchen - yes, even with my sore thumb and wrist! - I had seen a roll of Orla Kiely, Leaf wallpaper on FB Marketplace. I’ve always loved her designs but they are so expensive and this paper is no longer in production. The person had one roll that he was selling as he was moving house. I didn’t even know if there would be enough on one roll but I bought it anyway. The guy was really friendly and sent it postage free from London. I had the main areas done in no time but before long I knew there wasn’t going to be enough and there were gaps in a few places. However, I’m a dab hand at decorating and I painstakingly cut the left over bits and pieced them together. Only I can see where the joins are ;-). I’m really happy with the result. I did the same thing once before with some very floral wallpaper and nobody would ever guess - unless they look very closely.
This afternoon I chilled out doing some art and we had a visit from Eddie the signwriter, Bella went crazy when she saw him!
Now we’re watching ‘Patience’, it’s great drama.
