On the Nose
Our village Tuesday Walking Group did a circuit of two bridges in the city centre this morning. We crossed the Brisbane River from Southbank into the city via the Victoria Bridge (named after Queen Victoria, although the present bridge was built in the 1960s) and returned via the Neville Bonner Bridge, opened just 6 months ago and named after the first indigenous member of the Australian Parliament.
My photo for today is of the sculpture Looking Up by Tom Friedman (2020), located on the bank of the river at Queens Wharf. The setting moon gave me my title for today.
