I finally have found a way to use my fancy Lumix Panasonic G1 camera. It's taken me a while to face using it again. The body of the camera was given to me by my ex-husband when we were still dating. I bought the bag and the lens. I've not wanted to get rid of it, because it's a decent camera but I've not wanted to use it because of the memories. However, over the last few weeks or so, I've felt ready to take a step and start using it again. So last week I bought a little card reader device (see the extra photo) that I can use to transfer any photos I take, from the SD card directly onto my phone. It saves me having to go via my laptop. So if I take a photo that I want to post on Instagram, I can save it directly onto my phone. It cuts my laptop out all together. However, if I want to move a photo onto my laptop, this little card reader allows me to do that. I took this photo on my camera and used the card reader to save it onto my phone.
Today, Little Man had nursery, as normal, and while he was there, I cleaned the house, Little Man's English grandparents are coming to visit us for a few days. They won't be staying with us, but in a hotel in Woerden. It's easier to get the hoovering and the mopping done when Little Man isn't here.
We had a quiet afternoon at home. It's been very cold. It was -4⁰C (24.8⁰F) when I took Little Man to nursery. It was at freezing point when I went to get him. It peaked at about 3⁰C (37.4⁰F) during the midafternoon. The waterways around our home has been particularly frozen all day. If you look at the water in my main photo, you can see the ice.
