UFO

In this case, UFO stands for Un-Finished Object, according to one of the members of our new craft group. I started this sock several years ago, so long ago that I couldn’t remember what to do next! I spent much of the day referring to The Sock Bible and trying to make sense of the instructions for turning the heel. Eventually I succeeded and have now got to the stage of knitting the gusset so I am making slow progress. This sock knitting involves learning a new language e.g. heel flap, gusset, DPN, skpo.
