Waterfall

A surprise half day in work was followed by an afternoon in my favourite park. I had planned sit and read in the shade near this lovely waterfall until I was chased away by the heat and the mosquitos so 'afternoon' maybe a little misleading as the humidity had me scuttling home after half an hour!

Summer is the least interesting of seasons in Japan with little in the way of colour -but to make it more interesting there were lots of different kinds of bells and wind chimes hanging throughout the park which sounded lovely in the warm breeze.
