Out!

This evening I meet up with Sue and two of her  (mad and crazy friends) at a pub in Hythe. 
It was very strange, Sue and Pat were an hour late due to a debacle at the hotel - they had booked them in for last week then had to work hard at turning round the accessible room when they realised it was their mistake! As soon as they arrived we ordered food - wasn’t bad, glad I chose the baked salmon fillet, everyone else got plates so laden it was off putting, and lots got left! As soon as we had eaten Pat was on the phone for a taxi to take her and Sue back to the hotel. 
I’ve known Sue for over 30 years, working together at LC, but these other ladies were sportswomen and all very wealthy.  Conversation flowed about hockey, tennis, luxury apartments and the private schools their grandchildren attended. I was unusually quiet ;)
