My central heating boiler has been "  on the blink " for a while.  Losing pressure constantly and switching off..  Ive been able to re-pressurise it myself and get it working but recently Ive been having to do that multiple times a day. Unless I re- pressurise it then the heating hasn't been coming on. I have two weekend trips away coming up and I knew the boiler would not stay on while I'm away and I didn't want the cats to be in a cold house.....  so I contacted my usual plumber Geoff.  Hes on holiday --- but he gave me Waynes number and I messaged him yesterday. . Wayne came this afternoon and after a short time he had the boiler in good working order again.  

After Wayne left I walked down to the village.  Picked up my repeat prescription and did some shopping in Herons.  It was much busier than usual due to the Tesco next door being closed for repairs.

When I got home I spotted some long scaffolding boards on my lawn.  The " gutter man " must have left them there.  He is due tomorrow to replace my gutters and mend some broken tiles.  Im slowly getting jobs ticked off my " to do " list.
