11 years!

Little did I think when I posted my first blip in May 2008, (- yes there’s been a lot of gaps over the years - ) that I would still be posting today! I shan’t dwell on it today since 11 years comes so soon after 4000, which I also celebrated, but suffice it to say I’m so happy I stumbled across this great community at that time, and have kept returning to it after odd lapses.
Other than this milestone, it was a fairly routine sort of day. We drove downtown for Music Live at Lunch, which featured Cincinnati Recorder Consort, playing Renaissance style music. We heard them last year too, but this time they also featured a few other instruments in a couple of pieces - flute, oboe and viola de gamba. There were also a couple of new faces we didn’t see last year. The rest of the afternoon was spent playing the piano and knitting - I’m trying to get a prayer shawl finished to give to my sister in law Judy when we go over to England next week
