LIFE WAS MUCH EASIER...

...when all we needed to know was that orchids were beautiful and life was sweet! 

I took these two shots of my beautiful orchid this morning and then tried one out with a white background and one with a black in the PhotoRoom app - but I’m still not sure which one I like best!

However, since lunchtime, I have almost lost the will to live whilst trying to sort out my Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check so that I can continue to work at the Community Fridge at Church.  I got partway through it and it then threw me out, so I tried again, having changed my password only to find that it wouldn’t accept the new one.  Arghhhhhh!!

Came out of the website and tried to go in again, managed it, but then was told that the number of documents I was using to support this application was wrong!  By this time,  Mr. HCB was laughing at me shouting at the screen - he who can’t even remember his passwords without looking - so he got short shrift from me!  

I then realised that the screen was asking me about my Mother’s maiden name and however many different ways I tried to put it in, it kept throwing me out, as if I didn’t know it off by heart.  Arghhhhhh!!

Eventually, I had to ring the lady from Church who deals with this and who has to check my three documents only to be told she wasn’t at all surprised and as she said “This happens all the time - just leave it and go back in later and all will be fine!”    As I told her, I'm computer literate, so I don't know how those who aren't will manage!  

The documents have been submitted, so the message said, so I decided to leave it and won’t be trying to get in again.  If Mr. HCB asks me one more time “Any luck?” he will get more short shrift and a rude answer!

I then decided to update my Password App that synchronises across my iMac, iPad and iPhone, only to be thrown out of that too - chocolate is definitely needed - so excuse me while I go and find some!!  

In the meantime, enjoy my lovely orchids - will this do for Wide Wednesday?  At the moment, I don’t much care - the theme today is “weather with you”  so it is definitely “off theme” - although it is definitely frosty here with a storm brewing - so watch out, Mr.  HCB!!
