Wild

E occasionally goes out walking with the local wildlife walking group.  A conversation on one of these occasions led to them organising a 'walk' around our garden and that of the near neighbour, who has the actual dell that our house is named for, in her garden.

We have interesting molds and fungi apparently, and some plants that imply ancient woodland (which figures, as this land has been little other than trees for the last millennium or two).

Talking of trees, we planted those Silver Birch in 2015 - almost exactly 10 years ago.  Now, that's wild.
