It looked like the rain might blow past us...

...so 15 of us turned out for petanque this aft...

The first two games were fine, then we could see the sky darkening and the rain heading towards us... Basically we got soaked, despite dashing for the protection of the shelter - and it was an extremely wet walk home ;(  

I've put an extra collage in, as I managed to get dead-eye Audrey chucking a boule. She's top right ;) 
David and Hugh are in the thumbnail - they both played some great shots this aft!
