Fur seal

We had a day exploring the Otago Peninsula - first stop Portobello for coffee.
Then on down to the point to the Albatross Centre. Were treated to several of these amazing big birds flying over. They have a number of nests around the headland. The visitors centre was full of interesting info.
Near by is a small beach that penguins nest on and visit in the evening. It’s only accessible with a guided group - which sadly was fully booked for at least another week. Will I get to see penguins here?
Next stop was Allan’s Bay - a big long sandy beach with dunes behind. We wandered along to the end and spotted some fur seals. When I say spotted - I mean they were just laying there.
Loving the wild life here and so many birds to see.
