After purchasing fresh fruit from a roadside orchard stall in Riwaka we continued to a beach with golden sand for a walk and a swim.

The main photo shows Little Kaiteriteri, adjacent to Kaiteriteri Beach. At low tide it is possible to walk along the sand from one to another. At other times, it is a matter of taking the track up and over.

The extra photos show a landscape view from Little Kaiteriteri with the curve of Kaiteriteri Beach in the distance.
The top three show a tourist boat returning passengers from the Abel Tasman National Park, centre is the tidal estuary outlet and finally, a view from the steps looking back along Little Kaiteriteri Beach.
