Moth Orchid…….

……..in the kitchen.
It has continued to flower all throughout the winter, and has already sent up another shoot.
My other 3 orchids are all “resting” right now.
Just behind the Moth Orchid is my dad’s old Christmas cactus, which is on its 2nd regeneration, after I took part of it and planted it into another pot filled with compost, when the old cactus was showing signs of decay.
It last flowered in late November.
I went to the hair salon this morning to have a trim, as the next one will be after I have my operation, I booked an appointment for the third week after having it done, just as I had one last December three weeks after the first one was done.
It was fine up to lunchtime but exceptionally windy.
I actually managed to prune two more out of the other three roses which are left, first thing this morning.
At this moment the wind is howling down the flu in the chimney, and gusting round outside. It did begin to rain around lunchtime, but is a bit intermittent.
The temperature however is 14C!
I’m now going to read my book.,
