More celebrations

My friend and old work colleague drove up from Essex today with her two teenagers for a belated birthday celebration. It’s half term holidays so they are staying overnight. They visited last August and the kids have grown so much in the relatively short period of time. A is an attractive and chatty young lady who keeps her big brother in line. M was a prem baby and it’s unbelievable that he was only one kg at birth as he is a great chunky lad now.

We went out to the steakhouse for dinner and having been there last week with B & S I had a good idea of what was on the menu, it was delicious. B didn’t come with us, he left it for mum A and I to have a chatty update on all things NHS work wise and girly things. He had the chance to speak to them at home during the afternoon.
