An excellent low consequence adventure.
Because some days you want the adventure but don't want the effort!

Baltic blizzardy day which had us wobbling on getting out the van. But we did. And it was well worth it. Easy paddling but felt proper exploring as we picked through the tree lined/blocked twisty river*, a mini river delta that felt like Canada and a lovely loch. Finished with a long portage out obvs. 
Very lovely catch up with N and useful recce of a potential course venue.

*which we, 2 very experienced competent paddlers and guides, might have got actual lost on. And might have spent nearly an hour stomping around trying to work out 
a) where the river we were just floating along had disappeared to
b) why all the features we could see were on the wrong side 
c) why the tiny flow around our sandbank island was going backwards.

The extra might help solve the mystery!
