Passing ship

A long day today, not enough people to work. Dave could only work till 1 pm, then he had to go to a SDM store to do their hair color reline. I only had one other worker with me, and he takes frequent breaks. For every hour he is there, he actually only works about 45 minutes, and he is not a fast worker either. I also had to pick him up and drop him off at the bus terminal here in Dartmouth, because he thought taking the bus from south end Halifax to Bedford was too long a ride. 7.5 hours in the store and I put in for 10 hours. The total time was still about 10 hours under what we were allowed.

After I dropped him off I took a short detour downtown to get a few photos of the harbor today. If I had been 5 minutes sooner I would have gotten a better photo of the container ship passing under the bridge.

I had supper just after I got home, then I looked out and saw the sky.  And wished I was somewhere to get a better photo. It was like the sky was on fire.

So far the weather forecast is looking good for tomorrow. A little cooler than the past couple of days, but partly sunny. I plan to go to the valley. It's been a month since I have been outside the city.
