Corbières
After my German lesson, we drove back down to Salford, taking a slight detour to the tip to drop off six (!) bin liners of clothes.
I like the tip at Carnforth, and, as a rule, tips in general. The people who work there seem to be uncommonly helpful and friendly, and everyone using the tip is usually in the process of doing something productive. And then there's the whole recycling aspect. They are, I think, underrated as positive and cheering places.
In the afternoon, I recorded the radio show and then we went down to Hannah's for drinks before heading across to Vincenzo Trattoria for a belated celebratory meal, Hannah's birthday having been on Friday.
And after that, as the night was still (relatively) young, we walked to Corbières for a drink. Today's photo is of Hannah and the Minx at the juke box.
