DAYYYY-MOOOW-HOOOOW

The Bro and I went to see Damien Dempsey in the Traveller's Friend theatre in Cashellbaaaar (we made friends with loads of travellers).
It was good. It wasn't superb. Not every concert can be magic. One cannot blame the performer. He is never lackluster and he systematically gives it welly. The sound engineer wasn't great and it is only towards the end that he found the required volume level (11) 
The crowd was lapping it and the cruel absence of many of the gems that were crafted for the last album (only two songs from Hold Your Joy!) didn't seem to bother them. The punters were here for a sing-along and the main man didn't disappoint. He gave them a proper sing-along. 
I'd love the opportunity to see a toned down acoustic version of mainly songs from the last album. 
That's how I rock, in my more mature 0.0 years.
