Trerice

Trerice is the nearest National Trust house to Newquay. It has just reopened after the Winter for weekends only. We had the place to ourselves first thing this morning, apart from the birds singing and bees woken by the sunshine. The more sheltered parts of the garden have rosemary, quince and hellebores in flower and all full of bees with bulging pollen sacs.
