Lazy Saturday

I wasn’t the only guest in the seawater pool this morning. A family joined me, also enthusiasts of a refreshing dip. They’d have braved the sea but we had a red flag. 

After a while, I strolled slowly into town, resting  to look round and watching the world go by, finding quiet places to have a read. I could appreciate the Monarch butterflies as they occasionally settled.

More bus tickets bought.
A lunch in a truly locals place where I’ve eaten often on a Saturday lunchtime. A half portion here is still enormous !

Local team Maritimo are at home today and Leiria fans have flown in. 

I’m going to an improvised jazz concert shortly. 

I love a day when you can just respond as the mood takes you.
