A good cause

The Help the Heroes chap called in past on Thursday to collect the donations for the stand in Tesco’s this weekend. He asked if we could call in at some point, I was more than pleased to do so.

It was fascinating to see what was on the stand and to hear that many of my donations were already off to a new home. The 9 positive potatoes went within minutes to a lady who has an unpleasant task to do next week and wants to give them to soften to blow. She made a generous donation. The super hero’s and pink pigs are also very popular. 

We had a photo taken with P which he wants to put on the website. 

It was a good feeling being able help the organisation, by doing something I enjoy.
