Today's the day ............................ to hang out washing

The little man on the BBC Scotland Weather Forecast said that today was the day - to hang out your washing.  And he was absolutely right.

What a beautiful spring-like day we've had here, as you can see from these crocuses in the Soaperie Gardens in the middle of Kirkcudbright.  It really was a day to be out and about - and to get your washing dry.

And, if you chose to be inside, watching the Six Nations Rugby - that was pretty good too ..........................! 

PS Eleven years ago, on this day - we were watching a different rugby match!
