RIP

N invited us to join her today in burying Sue's ashes under Russ's tree in their garden (we and the neighbours bought the tree in his memory, and his are already there). So a small group of us congregated around the tree in the drizzle. Afterwards we repaired to the house and, of course, opened a bottle of wine for a toast in their memory.
