JOIN WITH GOLD

KINTSUGI is the Japanese art of
repairing broken objects with gold.
It literally means “joining with gold.”

This practice is part of a Japanese
philosophy that embraces imperfections.
It encouraged people to fix rather than
throw away broken objects, which
adds to the beauty.

How did I come by this kit? Well, I had
a small dish that broke; & shortly after
I listened to a guided meditation about the practice. Then I ordered this kit.

In the chaos of the wildfires, I misplaced them both. Tonight, while cleaning a book shelf, I found the kit. The dish is sure
turn up.

If the repaired dish becomes a beautiful success, I will post it.
