WESTERN REDBUD TREE

The REDBUD TREES were just starting to bloom at the park today & it made my heart sing. It blooms before the leaves appear,
very early in Spring. A female Goldfinch
was admiring it, too.

These Western Redbuds are a hearty
tree that doesn’t appear to mind full sun, our hot Summers & windy Winters.
They have heart shaped leaves that are
red.

There are many planted in this park & throughout the city. Someone in city government was a huge fan, just like me.
