The weather apps were wrong, though just by an hour. They said light rain by 8 o’clock and heavy by 9.

There was no need for me to be out at 7 o’clock to buy milk. Of course that was my fault for not thinking about it when I was at the shops yesterday.

There wasn’t much to blip at first light and the early bit of pink in the sky disappeared quickly. I took a few street shots, though there were more jackdaws than people and cars. In the end it was a few of shop fronts that won, the one in the blip belonging to a supplier of wood burning stoves.

Posting early and I’m going to attempt to have a ‘screen free’ afternoon and evening so I won’t be popping in on any journals tonight.
