Relaxed, Latched And Parallaxed

As per usual, window frames tend to "go parallel" over time as the wood rots away. So it took a while to make the window open/shut as it should as I had to trim away much of the window and frame to bypass the layers of bumpy paint, latch engravings and old screw holes. Sounds like polishing a turd? I wasn't far off, but it was a mega relief after yesterday's  "window drop"! Nice to get the latch working as it should and even nicer to get a few licks of undercoat and paint onto the wood.

More windows to do at Easter for sure.
