Norik UHA 2025

Gales blowing all day, worst in the afternoon. Rain started in the late morning, dry and clear tonight.  

Up fairly early, considering.  A lazy morning after breakfast.  Headed over to see Julie and family, she also made us all lunch.  We headed for the ferries, both bumpy runs.  Mam and gang had their ferries cancelled due to the weather, but finally made it back late this evening.  Popped by Madeline's to pick up Sammy, a cuppa too.  Walkies with Sammy after tea, then a lazy night ahead.

We all had a great night at the Up Helly Aa party.  The squad acts were great, plenty of laughs, and the Jarl Squad sung various songs in good voice.  I think I finally left around 330am.  Julie and Ingram are great pals with the Jarl and his wife, all pictured here around 230am.  Jarl Derek Jamieson and wife Cheryl, Ingram and Julie.  Taken in the Haroldswick Hall, Unst.
