The father of the impossible figure

A Swedish graphic artist who in 1934 pioneered the art of 3D drawings that may initially appear feasible, yet cannot be physically constructed

Born in Stockholm and died in Lund.
This stamp appeared in 1982. One of three.  But the only one in my collection. They were engraved by Czeslaw Slania, based on watercolours by Reutersvärd.   The drawing here made me think of Echer whose work I know.  It is similar.
